Mantua Books has now released Meotti’s new book, The Vatican Against Israel: J'ACCUSE, get your copy today! Meotti says, “the Vatican failed tragically by denying the State of Israel’s sovereignty in the holy land and the right to defend itself from a beastly form of terrorism”. His research and writing was ever guided by the American non-Jewish philosopher, Eric Hoffer, who gave voice to the most profound and tragic Holocaust-related 20th-century truth, “I have a premonition that will not leave me, as it goes with Israel so will it go with all of us”.
Meotti’s new book exposes the Vatican’s long Judeophobic tradition and its failings in its duty after Auschwitz to make the world a safer place for the Jewish people. For Meotti, Judaism, with its ethical monotheism, has always been the force of good and light in a hostile and dark world. He believes the Jewish condition is again the focal point of an enormous battle of identities and that the survival of the State of Israel is the single most defining issue of our time, which after 9/11, is the time of the right to life versus the death cult. Meotti says that tiny Israel matters urgently to the Western world, especially for the Christians, because it has become its most imperiled member of our civilization. He says, “Jews and Christians share a common, fundamental battle, that being religious freedom. The two most important litmus tests we face today are in fact the dormant anti-Jewish demons which lurk in the shadows of the Middle East and in the civilized veneer of the West, and the invisible eastern Christians who are becoming extinct.” Meotti, who was born in post-Auschwitz Europe, the cemetery of the Jewish people, has always felt that, “the ‘new anti-Semitism’ signals the risk of the avalanche, perhaps even the fall, of the whole of Western society. The Jews are not marginal guests; the worst of all anti-Jewish persecutions, that of Hitler, almost marked the end of European history.” That is why Meotti wrote his first book, and now it is the turn of his latest book, The Vatican Against Israel: J'ACCUSE.
