Dr. Pamela Peled was born and raised in South Africa in the brutal days of Apartheid. She made aliya in 1975 at the age of 17. After studying English Literature and Teaching at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, she earned a doctorate in Shakespeare from Bar Ilan. Peled teaches at Beit Berl and the IDC, gives lectures on Shakespeare all over Israel and abroad. Peled is also a journalist currently and currently resides near Tel Aviv.
